My attraction to
digital agency
websites
As I move forward in my web development career, my attraction to a digital agency style websites becomes stronger and more obvious. There are many aspects of this style that stand out to me. The most prominent being the freedom that comes with these websites. In general, digital agencies are more on the creative side when it comes to design and development practices. Therefor they don't limit themselves to industry standards or conventional styles when designing and building their websites. Rather, they shoot for the sky and create something unique and inspiring.
Another aspect of these websites that attracts me is the level of self expression and aim to make something that accurately represents the company/agency. Like I mentioned, more on the creative side, digital agencies are generally thinking outside the box to create not only a premium website but a unique and memorable experience. This truly resonates with me as I love creating websites that not only look and feel high quality, but also linger in your thoughts long after you leave the site.
The Tech Behind
The Website
With this project I wanted to create a Website that combined great design, a solid build foundation and created a unique and premium experience. As I grow as a developer it becomes more apparent that my passion is not in creating design but giving it life. For this reason I chose an existing website to recreate. The original website fleava.com
Along with a powerful Javascript i decided to use clean CSS. Also, Git and Github, to ensure my versioning and documentation is readily accessible.

A Mobile friendly approach
With a vast majority of users visiting websites through their smart phones, having a mobile friendly website is crucial for every company. This project has allowed me to hone in my responsive design and development skills creating a more accessible and native experience for our users.
